Building Surveys
A D Horner Limited have been measuring buildings for nearly 20 years. During this period we have continually developed our surveying techniques and invested in the latest technology, to help us deliver high quality measured building surveys as efficiently and cost effectively as possible.
If we have a particular area of expertise then it is with the production of floor plans, elevations, roof plans and sections
We have experience in measuring all building types including domestic dwellings, listed buildings, churches, barns, retail units, public houses, office blocks, universities, schools, hospitals, police stations, factories and hotels.
The specification is agreed with the client at the quotation stage. We can measure as much or as little as is required. This might be an outline street scene elevation for a right of light analysis, or an ornate elevation survey, measuring floor plans with smaller details like sockets and switches or a simple floor plan of a stripped out building shell. Typically the scale we would advise is either1:50 or 1:100.
Measured building survey drawings are output in AutoCAD and the layering system we use means the drawings are very easy to read and manipulate.
